What is the Investment to Find Your Dream Nanny?

At The Nanny Edit, we are all about intentional matches and curated care and that starts with a clear, easy-to-understand fee structure.
To kick off your search, there is a $500 non-refundable engagement fee. This gets the magic started. Once your perfect nanny says “yes” to your family, the remaining one-time placement fee is due: equivalent to 6 weeks of their gross pay (or 8 weeks for specialty placements). Simple, transparent, and totally worth it.
These fees are based on full-time placements. But if you’re looking for part-time (minimum 20 hours/week), live-in, travel-ready, or something totally custom—we’ve got you covered. Reach out! We would love to tailor the process to fit your family’s unique needs. Because finding the right fit isn’t just about checking boxes. It is about curating a match that elevates your home and your peace of mind.

Our Commitment to Ethical Employment

At The Nanny Edit, we’re not just here to find you a nanny, we’re here to help create thriving, respectful partnerships. This starts with treating your nanny like the professional they are.

Here’s what we require from our families:

Nannies should be paid 52 weeks per year,  even when you don’t need them. If your nanny is available and ready to work, they should still receive their regular pay.

You must be willing to pay legally through a payroll service — no under-the-table arrangements here.

You agree to provide industry-standard benefits, including:
— Guaranteed weekly hours
— Paid vacation
— Paid holidays
— Paid sick days
— Mileage reimbursement for on-the-job driving

When families lead with respect and professionalism, the care your children receive reaches a whole new level.

What familes are saying

“We can't speak highly enough of Kady and The Nanny Edit! Finding a nanny is such an important search and can feel overwhelming, but Kady makes the process personalized, efficient and professional. We have worked with her for a few years now and it is always a pleasure to engage with her. She understands how special a nanny is to a family and that finding the right person is the priority. She is communicative, knowledgeable and taps into an incredible resource for her families. The Nanny Edit is an excellent partner for your childcare needs!!"
The Castillo Family | Aliso Viejo, CA
"We are moving cross country to Orange County, and after joining many Facebook groups for childcare came across Kady and her business, The Nanny Edit. I can't say enough about their professionalism and helpfulness - in what could have been a highly stressful situation, securing qualified nanny candidates for our 3 children and only speaking to them over zoom, we felt in incredible hands. Kady pre-interviewed all of our candidates, serving up very qualified candidates well-ahead of our start date. We now have a fantastic nanny set to start with us right when we arrive - and we have Kady to thank for it!"
The Stevenson Family | Ontario, CA
"The BEST! I was so nervous trying to find the right nanny for my family until I found Kady's company. They have done the heavy lifting by thoroughly vetting all their candidates with background checks and CPR training. Kady has been such a joy to work with and spoke with me at length (while she was on vacation, none the less!) getting to know my family so she could place us with the best fitting caregivers. It's been such a relief knowing my family is in great care. Thank you, Kady!"

Is there a fee to apply?

Nope! There is never a fee for nannies to apply or work with us. We believe caregivers should never pay to be placed — your talent and experience are your currency.

Do I need formal education?

While formal early childhood education is a plus, it's not required. What matters most to us is hands-on experience, excellent references, and a deep understanding of child development and emotional care.

Can I be considered if I live outside the U.S.?

At this time, we only place candidates who are legally authorized to work in the United States. If you're an international nanny already living and working in the U.S. with proper documentation, you are absolutely welcome to apply.
